On the rare occasion that I hit the town for a crazy night, I reach for Spicebomb by Viktor&Rolf.
This cologne is perfect in a swanky cocktail bar, a jumping night club, or that trendy new fusion place that just opened.
If this fragrance were a person, he’d be the life of the party.
With its warm, sweet, and spicy profile, delicious is a simple way to describe this scent. Coupled with its great projection and longevity, it’s a true crowd pleaser.
Spicebomb is very effective and popular. I get compliments every time I wear it.
Spicebomb has two distinctly different, and equally present personalities.
It’s half spicy heat and half sweet freshness – like a devil on one shoulder and an angel on the other.
Spicebomb is, as the name suggests, a spicy assault on your senses. But not baking spices like nutmeg and clove. (Cinnamon is listed as a main note, but isn’t apparent to my nose).
Rather, the spicy side of this fragrance is composed of chili and paprika, which have more of a “bite” than bakery sweetness.
The fresh side is composed of bergamot and grapefruit which is more zesty than it is aqua.
Overall, Spicebomb has the bite of chili and paprika, balanced by fresh bergamot and grapefruit, comforting pink pepper, and anchored in warm pipe tobacco.
The projection on this fragrance is great; anyone within a few feet of you will be able to smell it. And isn’t overwhelming as long as you don’t over-apply.
On top of its great projection, Spicebomb could teach other fragrances a thing or two about longevity.
When I first picked up this scent, I wore it for a night out. The next morning, it was still holding strong on my chest and clung to my cardigan for several days.
Even now, I still get a whiff of sweet spices every time I move my hands even though it’s been over 10 hours since I sprayed it on my wrists.
Suffice it to say, this is a very good all-around cologne.
When To Wear Spicebomb
Spicebomb is so warm and sweet that it could come off as offensive in the summer heat and humidity, but it’s perfect for cold weather.
I would say that you can wear it during the day, but this provocative scent is more at home when the sun goes down.
This is the cologne to wear when you’re out on a date or looking for one.
6 out of 7 women prefer Spicebomb to Paco Rabanne 1 Million; which is another very successful fragrance in the same category.
Spicebomb is perfect for that refined and playfully bold outfit you’d wear to an upscale New Year’s Eve party.
Spicebomb is best worn by men who want to project a daring youth and sense of fun.
This fragrance will make you smell like a playboy, so make sure that you’re dressed to match such a bold fragrance.
If you can get over the slightly cheesy grenade design, you’ll love Spicebomb.
All the best,
