One of my favorite parts of writing Iron & Tweed is hearing from you guys.
I love talking with readers in the comments sections and corresponding through email.
But what's even better is meeting in person!
And it just so happens there are a couple of upcoming opportunities for us IT guys to meet up in the near future.
Without further ado, I'd like to extend an invitation to all of you for two events coming up within the next 5 weeks.
February 18 – Knot Standard Private Showroom Opening (Chicago, IL)
I get a lot of questions about made-to-measure clothing. To educate myself and help to answer those questions, I've been working with Knot Standard, a company that creates custom suits, shirts, sport coats, and trousers.
Soon I'll be publishing a review of the entire process, but first…
Knot Standard is hosting a private party on Thursday, February 18th to celebrate the opening of a brand new Private Collection Showroom in the River North neighborhood near downtown Chicago.
I'll be there and you're invited!
If you're interested, join us at 220 West Illinois Street from 6pm – 8pm and dress to impress!
At least, that's the tentative plan if the gathering stays small.
If we get enough people on the list, they've agreed to host a separate VIP event for us.
For those who'd like to attend, please email firstname.lastname@example.org (and copy me – email@example.com) so we can get a head count.
March 11-13 – StyleCon 2016 (Atlanta, GA)
If you've ever wanted to meet your favorite style bloggers, StyleCon 2016 is your chance.
When I attended last year:
- I shook hands with Brett McKay (founder of Art of Manliness),
- Had dinner with Antonio Centeno of Real Men Real Style,
- Shared a taxi with Tanner Guzy from Masculine Style,
- Bonded over beards with Eric Bandholz (founder of Beardbrand),
- And met so many more successful and inspirational bloggers and business owners.
It's a weekend of networking with a gathering of incredibly motivational men that's sure to have a profound impact on your life – whether your focus is on gaining business insight or improving your personal style and fitness.
And it's not just business – it's also one hell of a good time!
So hop on over to the page to check out all the specifics, including location details, the list of speakers, the event schedule, registration info, and more.
If you're planning to be there, definitely shoot me an email (firstname.lastname@example.org) to let me know so we can be sure to sync up over the weekend.
Hope to see you soon!
All the best,
